Thank you to everyone who shared feedback during our February webinar.  You helped shape new statewide standards for Financial Management Services (FMS) in the Self-Determination Program (SDP).

FMS providers manage the financial piece of support services.  This includes budgets, payments, billing, and service agreements.

These new standards will help create more consistent FMS services across California.  They will set clear expectations for SDP FMS vendors working with participants and their families.

The standards will include expectations for:

  • Customer service
  • Service agreements
  • Handling payments and billing
